With a highly motivated and inspired cause, here’s a top contemporary release from the UK’s pretty Debby that displays her skill and deep love-of-music. Career-wise, things are now up-and-running as this fine new album projects. With a quality in her voice akin to America’s best – which is praise indeed - there is an out-of-the-ordinary, lingering excellence in her voice. When this is united with this engaging repertoire of new songs – the result is a winning mix. Highly commendable, here’s 13 heart-felt contemporary-MOR cuts interwoven with the flavour of a quality contemp-ensemble with Philip Goss at the helm. Minted in rural Bucks, England and produced for custom-marketing, from the CD’s first impression this excellent enterprise works magnificently. Clearly, a labour-of-love, she has a well-beloved, heart-warming vocal-style, that nowadays needs to be cherished. Her engaging passion transfers well into the audio realm.
