 Reverend Doctor Paul Davis is a pastor, lecturer, author, journalist, broadcaster, record producer, tour organiser, music publisher and local government manager of considerable experience. He was the first European Director of the USA's Gospel Music Association and the founder of the UK's Christian Music Association, the British Gospel Music Association (now CCL) and the UK Christian Music Alliance. A Fellow of the European Theological Seminary, his books include the official biographies or autobiographies of George Beverly Shea, George Hamilton IV, Pat Boone, Ron Jones, and the Blackwood Brothers plus book projects for Readers Digest on several country music and gospel music themes including 'Peace In The Valley', Jim Reeves, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Glen Campbell, Tammy Wynette, the Blackwood Brothers and Kenny Rogers.
He has written books on the history and theology of hymns, gospel songs and Christmas carols. Paul's books have been published by Harper Collins, Zondervan, Word, Readers Digest, Henry Walter, Ambassador, Authentic and others.

He was the founder, editor and publisher of 'New Music' and 'New Christian Media' magazine that merged with Buzz magazine in 1985.
He has broadcast (presenter/producer) over several decades on BBC Radio, Capital Radio, Ritz 1035, BBC 3CR, Radio Thamesmead, BBC Radio Kent,London Broadcasting,Trans World Radio, and United Christian Broadcasters and others. He has produced or executively produced hundreds of record albums and organised concerts in many hundreds of venues ranging from city theatres and churches to prisons to the American Embassy in London, and to major Festivals such as Wembley, Peterborough, Whitby (England) and DeBron (Holland),where he also MC'd.
With the 'Diploma In Municipal Administration', Paul served in administration and management posts in local government.

Happily married in 1965 to Hazel, he has three married children.
